I'm so excited to work on this film.
The script is equal parts drama, irony, cerebral, with a dash of humor.

A few weeks ago I solicited some testimonials for my website from people that have been wowed by my presence. I wasn't a nag about or anything. I just sent out a general email to some of the people that were naive enough to hire me with all my craziness.
One in particular really wowed me from my good friend Jim Cimalore. He directed me in "Ur N My Space", which I blogged about previously.
Even though I was expecting praises from him because I knew he was pleased with my work (and because I'm just so frikkin awesome), I was so taken aback by his glowing review that it made this brown girl blush!
Thank you, Jim! I really appreciate it!

I LOVE looking at behind the scenes shots.
This shot is from a short film I worked on called "Ur N My Space". It was directed by my good friend Jim Cimalore who is gearing up to shoot his first feature film. To my left is the very talented actress/singer Dina Montefuscoli (I love this girl) and to my right is Katherine Ilagen.
I had such a great time working on this. The part was written just for me and we spied some crudely shaped cruellers that looked like...well I'll keep it clean.
"Ur N My Space" will premiere this spring.

I had an itsy bitsy role as Nurse Delia in a film called "Diamond Ruff". I shot my scene this past fall with Fredro Starr and Dennis LA White.
It's a pretty cool film based on a pretty cool book (and I'm not just saying that because I'm in it). I had a great time working on set with a bunch of people that I already knew.
Anyhow, Felicia Pearson (aka Snoop from HBO's The Wire) did an interview in Rolling Stone and mentioned
"Diamond Ruff".
How awesome is that?
And one of my favorite bands, The Black Keys, is on the cover. I think this is a sign!
"Diamond Ruff" is still in post production but I hear there will be some screening dates soon and I am very much looking forward to a release date.
